Hypha Discovery present marine fungal anti-tumour agent discovery research at 2014 ELRIG Research and Innovation Impact into Cancer Meeting

Stephen Wrigley, CTO, gave a presentation titled “Marine Fungi: Charting the Chemistry of Hits from an Anticancer Screening Campaign” in the “Bioactive Chemistry: Harvesting the Bounty of Nature” session at the ELRIG Research & Innovation: Impact into Cancer conference held at Telford International Centre on 11th March, 2014. His was one of a series of talks about the EU FP7-funded Marine Fungi project, which Hypha has been a key participant in during the last three years. Steve and colleague Beth Kebede also presented a poster at the conference on the discovery of new secondary metabolites with anti-tumour activity from a marine Tolypocladium geodes strain.
